Bahnsturmers Marketing Plan for 2005:

Goals:
- Maintain current membership level
- Add 10 members to the club roster
- Increase member attendance at meetings
- Increase club recognition at rallies
- Bring younger members to inspire futurity
Methods:
- Polk City Ride In - Cornerstone for of the club's advertisement
- Advertising in: BMWMOA, MCN, Des Moines Register, Ames Tribune, local free papers (Press Citizen, etc.), other BMW club web sites
- Flyers in all of the local motorcycle shops
- Door prizes – from Gina's, Omaha, Adam's, others?
- 80/20 raffle
- Sell club shirts and sweatshirts - "20 years on the Square"
- Tour of area - hour long ride with prize for shortest (legal) elapsed time and collection of all trinkets from the stops
- Have a club tent / rain cover at all rallies with 5 or more members in attendance (Does one exist?)
- Reward members attending BMWMOA National who volunteer for an event or for support
- Invite members from Heart of Iowa BMW club
- Mail invitations to all past members (including Ride-in details)
- Club rides to Omaha, Iowa City, and other motorcycle shops
- Form relations with local motorcycle shops for mutual benefit
- Have members wear club t-shirts or sweatshirts at rallies - Club pays for member's shirt if worn at five or more events
- Partnership with other regional clubs – links and attendance at each others rallies
