I'd been hearing about the Dells Rally for a year or so. During my trip to Mid-Ohio's Vintage Days, I was told in certain terms that I had to visit the Dells Rally. So I decided it must be so!
When my regular riding buddy couldn't go to the Dells Rally, I decided I'd go anyway and I'd either meet a few new friends or I'd be bored and I'd sit reading.
The books were never picked up...I had a blast. I met a lot of great people, including a few people from the Bahnsturmers club from Iowa. After a chat with Drew and Price, I was invited along for a jet boat ride. Man, that was a blast! Later in the evening, I wandered around chatting about and drooling over bikes, during which I met a few more members of the Bahnsturmers, as well as many other "known" MOA members.
Throughout the weekend, I was a sponge for information, and I think I was able to provide some as well. The weather made the camping easy!
The evening festivities were awesome, but what's with the pink flamingo?
My only worry is that the Dells Rally will spoil other Rallys for me...how can they compare? Oh, well I'll just keep riding 'til the Dells Rally comes around again.
Great job Wisconsin Staff!
